This Fall I am in Seattle, performing in Dunya Productions‘ mainstage show, Almonds Blossom in Deir Yassin by Hanna Eady. It has been fun to get back into acting, and I am proud to be able to perform in a Palestinian show at this time.

Dunya Productions is also screening my short film Nabra’s Anklet this Monday, as part of their new monthly film series! This will be the first public screening of the film, and will feature a post-show discussion with the filmmakers (meaning me, my mom, and my dad!).

I am proud to share that Nabra’s Anklet has received a number of recognitions from national and international film festivals:

So I have a bunch of laurels now! Mostly I am grateful that people recognize the importance of this story. I hope to share this film with more communities, and am grateful to start in Seattle with a company that is near and dear to me.
