I am thrilled to announce that I am a part of two exciting playwriting cohorts this year!

I was accepted into the Dramatists Guild Foundation National Playwriting Fellowship, which is a year-long program that supports a total of 11 playwrights from across the U.S. Throughout the program, I will work on several plays in process, including The Baby Stealing Play, a comedy about ethical philosophy.

I was also accepted into Moving Arts’ MADlab, a highly competitive Los Angeles playwrights program. Within the next 9 months, I will write and develop a brand new full-length play about L.A. It is going to be a comedy the genre of magical realism, with movement elements throughout.

I am still a part of the Women’s Playwrights Circle at Speranza Theatre as well; I feel so much abundance in my artistic community and inspired by the exciting work that my colleagues are creating!

I am so thankful for these opportunities, and for the chance to collaborate with talented local and national playwrights throughout the development of new pieces.
